Jazz Composers Alliance @ Randolph-Macon College
<>Jazz Composers Alliance performed the Historic Richmond Jazz Suite at Randolph– Macon College last Wednesday night October 25, 2006 before a captive audience. Many loved the explanations behind the music and cues to listen for in the work by Jazz  composer Ashby Anderson.

<>Composer –in– Residence Sam Savage presented several modern works that integrate more popular music with a distinctive traditional jazz influence.

Performing were Mike Hawkins- Bass, Kelli Strawbridge- Drums, Kevin Davis- Percussion, Ashby Anderson-Piano, Kevin Simpson- Tenor Sax, Mark Ingraham- Trumpet and Sam Savage- Trombone.
